Heated Eyelash Curler

Saturday, August 11, 2012
Weather just got started to get better today. And after few days of heavy rains that hit Metro Manila causing severe floods and damages, here I am back into track again. I would like to thank everyone for every prayers and support that has bestowed to our affected fellowmen. God will surely bless you all.

I would like to share my newest beauty stuff, the Heated Eyelash Curler by Touch Beauty. I bought this curler online for only P79.00 compared to other retailers that costs P300++. If you're interested to know the online seller, then just comment here below. Actually I haven't tried this one yet since it is battery operated. I don't expect them to hand over an additional battery since the price of the curler is cheaper.

I will post a picture of myself here in my blog once I already have the battery and once I have used it. I think this is far better than my basic eyelash curler, but I'm not concluding yet. To see is to believe right gals? So hope you can wait for the update regarding my picture.

Thanks and have a great weekend ahead! :)

Food trippings

Sunday, August 5, 2012
Hey fellas! I know I wasn't able to blog last Thursday to Saturday due to bed weather. I think you got what I meant. I always got into my bed as earlier as 7pm as it is very cold and my bed is really inviting.

Oh well, foodies are the spotlight for tonight on my blog. Chatime and J.Co donuts did great on my cravings! Just last Thursday my officemate/friend treat us Chatime for an early despida since she'll be moving to another team from ours. I'm just thankful I choose the right flavor for my taste buds, the Chocolate Mousse. I'm not a fan of milk tea or any other tea flavorings that is on demand today. I don't know what the hell it is, but the tea is making me sick. It feels like I'm drinking a sampaguita juice! Errr

Chocolate Mousse is really delicious! If you're a fan of chocolate then this is for you. The white creamy sponge thing at the top tastes like milk choco with cheese. :)

On Friday, our team dine at Oks Manok just near our office place. It's actually at the back of Pioneer Centre. It's a small inasal house and a very simple restaurant but definitely popular. I think they were originated from Bacolod. I ordered a liempo meal worth P145 with rice, soup and red ice tea. The liempo was great and tasty. If I will be asked if I'll come back again, then my answer is a big YES!

Some ordered pecho pak and they were satisfied and said it's tasty. Unfortunately, we weren't served with soup but that's okay. Also, we have tried their calamares. It's yummy and crunchy! :)

Lastly on Saturday, I have finally visited my girl pal on her condo at Paragon Plaza. As we were chatting together at the 15th floor where the pool is located, her boyfriend arrived and surprised us with J.Co donuts!!! That's a real big surprise any girl can appreciate.

So here are the photos:

I have tasted four flavors, the alcapone (with almonds), the green tease (green), heaven berry (light pink) and don mochino (chocolate). The very favorite of mine was the alcapone since it is made up of crunchy almonds and white chocolates. The least favorite was the green tease. You know I'm not really a fan of tea so this will be the first thing to avoid for first time buyers who hated tea like me.

Have a great night guys! :)

Avocado Madness

Wednesday, August 1, 2012
I think it was my cravings that has just kick in this evening. So I made an avocado dessert to give myself a treat. And to share a crazy little thing, I've been eying avocado since my last trip at the grocery so I finally bought some before going home.

Avocado is one of my favorite tropical fruit and it's so versatile that you can make it as a dessert or a fruit juice.

Here are the step by step pictures on how I did it:

My ingredients are:
1. Sugar
2. Evaporated Milk
3. Ice cubes (optional if you plan on keeping it on a freezer for a while)

So that's how it looks like after. :)

Happy dinner guys! :)

Pistachio Stardust Cake from Purple Oven

Sunday, July 29, 2012
One of my office mate Jay, decided to buy us a dessert as a treat for his outstanding performance in the office and for getting incentives monthly. He asked me what brand of cake to buy then I suggest Purple Oven since I've been drooling to this brand ever since I've tasted their Good for the Gods. And to share a secret with you guys, Starbucks get their pastries from Purple Oven.

Purple Oven is just a few miles away from my apartment so I am familiar with the place. My two other office mates decided to buy the cake by themselves since they were worried that I'm pregnant and I can't leave the office with the complicated weather. So I just gave them directions and a map. :)

As they arrived at the office, we went directly at the pantry area to eat the cake they bought. I was a bit surprised upon opening the box, I thought it was an avocado flavor!! But viola!!! It's a Pistachio Stardust Cake and it looks so delicious!

This one was a pistachio covered chiffon pastry. I love it because it has the lightest chiffon with an icing filling. And the most promising was its meringue base that is so delicious and it tasted like a sweet tiramisu.

I'll definitely be back to their place and try out some other variety. And hey, this cake is perfect with a warm coffee under the rainy day season. :)

For those looking for the address:

Sweet Napoleones Treat

Saturday, July 28, 2012
Just yesterday me and my friend went to Megamall to pick up our Roli's Napoleones order. They have a small stand in Mega A so they were easy to locate.

I am so happy to finally have eaten Napoleones for the first time. My friend recommended it though she have tasted it just once. If you have a sweet tooth like mine then this will be definitely one of your favorite pastry! It has sugary creme filling and are really sweet. I think this was originated from Bacolod.

One dozen is worth P200.00 and you can buy per piece for only P17.00 or P100.00 per 6 pieces. If I will be ask if ever I'll buy again, then my answer is a big YES! I'll rate this product 8 out of 10. :)

Magic Leverag Temporary Curler

Friday, July 27, 2012
One of the things that a pregnant women shouldn't do is exposing herself to chemicals that can harm the baby. I was warned many times about the risk of chemical exposure especially to cosmetics with ingredients that should be avoided.

Here are some of the things to be avoided:
Retinoids
Salicylic acid
Soy Acne products
Hair removers
Sunscreens

So as a kikay girl who doesn't want to be left behind with fashion and trendy looks, I bought a Magic Leverag from a friend for only P130.00. I have a straight hair and curling it sometimes is a good option to look different especially on special occasions. But since I wasn't allowed to be exposed to chemicals, I got this one! The instructions are easy. You can see it directly at the back of the package. By the way, this are my snap photo after using Magic Leverag. I didn't put any cream or spraynet on my hair and it lasted for less than three hours.

Have  a great day! :)

First Kiss vs. Coral Kiss

Thursday, July 26, 2012
My post yesterday was about Human Heart Nature products, and now I would like to share the shades of these two lipsticks I have so you'll have better idea which shades will compliment your lips or not.

Human Heart Nature Lipstick
The First Kiss was the very first lipstick I bought from Human Heart Nature together with the other products. At first I was so excited trying it on my lips but was a bit disappointed after the application since I am expecting a real pinkish shade like what Nikki Minaj is using. I bet you know her.

So here are the pics, sorry for the chappy lips and blurry pictures.

First kiss

So after few weeks, I decided to try Coral Kiss and as usual I am expecting it like a real hot red like Anne Curtis lipstick. But it turned out to be more of a tangerine but it was okay. I was able to use this one for at least two weeks.

Coral kiss

So you'll be the judge here!

Would you prefer the First Kiss or the Coral Kiss?
